Well, let tell you a short little embarrassing story about myself.
I had to see my doctor about a bad infection. The Doc pulled out of his “bag-o-tools” some antibiotics which, as he explained would work like magic.
They did and I started to feel better almost immediately.
The crazy thing happened the following weekend, when a friend stopped by with a couple of beers.
Beer plus antibiotics…all heck broke loose!
I broke out in sweat, my body temperature sky-rocketed and I felt sicker than I think I’d ever felt in my life (up until that point). So, for the first time since the doctor had sent me home with the bottle of pills. I took time to read it.
There it was in small print… Do Not Take With Alcohol.
As I understand it today, the antibiotics found the yeast in the beer and declared full scale war on it; the battle field was my body and I was beginning to feel like Gettysburg.
